The TriggerFish ROV 2.0
The TriggerFish ROV kit has been updated and now includes a motor simulation board that provides information on the status and direction of the motors to aid in troubleshooting and programming (optional) the ROV. The TriggerFish can be run in analog mode using two Sabertooth motor controllers and two joysticks or in digital mode with the addition of an Arduino microcontroller. This ROV is an intermediate level project suitable for competing in the MATE ROV competition at the NAVIGATOR (using the analog mode) or at the RANGER level (using the digital mode.) Please review the Constructing the Control box (Day 2) of the TriggerFish Curriculum for more details on the control system and the associated curriculum for additional building instructions. |
